To finish out the first year of its existence, the Business Incubator class held its first-ever Pitch Night in the Commons Area and the Auditorium on Monday, May 15. The Pitch Night was inspired by the show Shark Tank, so local business leaders attended the event, acting as the “sharks” while six groups presented their various business plan ideas they developed throughout the course of the class.  The winning group was “Propstop”, which proposed a boating device.  This group included Juniors Andrew Owens, Sophia Fiore, Jessica Kafka and Gavin Bulmash, who won $2,000 to put toward producing their product.
