From Nov. 19-24, the boys basketball team competed in the annual Thanksgiving tournament hosted at MHS. After losing to Warren High School two days prior, the Mustangs played in a tightly contested game against Deerfield High School on Nov. 23. The game featured many lead changes and a come-from-behind effort from MHS that kept fans engaged throughout the matchup between the two schools. Forward Andrew Gonzalez, senior, said, “The energy we brought that game made it enjoyable, and of course, the win made it even better.”
