I’m Maggie O’Donnell, a Junior and news editor at MHS. My best friend Madison Parola told me to take the class, and I can already tell that I am really going to enjoy it. Ever since middle school, I have developed this love for writing. My favorite subject has always been English because I like to read and write a lot. It made sense for me to take this course, and hopefully I will take it through my senior year. I am very opinionated; therefore, my favorite articles are always the opinion ones because I like to see how the writer feels about a topic. Outside of my love for writing, I live and breathe sports. Growing up, I have played every sport that involves getting aggressive and dirty because that’s what I do best, and I hope I can have the same aggressiveness with the articles I write.
