Hello, my name is Guadalupe Duarte, but most people call me Lupe, which I prefer. I’m a sophomore, and I joined journalism this year to get more involved in the school’s community and to help others get more involved in what goes on in the school. I love going on runs, boxing with my friends, drawing, collecting shoes or hats, and I could keep going on because I usually don’t do much that gets me bored. My favorite thing to do, though, is draw, such as some 2-D drawing, and I hope to do comics for the school newspaper because that would be nice. I usually don’t watch T.V. that much, but my favorite movie right now as it has been for about 11 years, is The Mask, starring Jim Carrey as well-- the Mask. I hope I leave an impact, and I’m valued as a helpful member of the school journalism team this year.
