Hi! I’m Emily Ollendick, a senior. Thirteen years ago I started the sport I love, and since then, soccer has become a huge part of my life. Playing it every year since you’re four kind of makes it a hobby. Soccer keeps me fit, which is very important to me, because I love being active. I’ve played varsity soccer since freshman year and was also junior captain last year. I love sports, and the reason why I am taking journalism is because I would love to broadcast or report sports as a career. My favorite athlete is Patrick Kane, and it is a dream of mine to interview and talk about sport icons for a living.
