Melissa Burgett, Editor-in-Chief: Print Edition

I’m Melissa, and my number one love is the MHS newspaper, The Mustang. I’ve dedicated years of my life up to my current senior year to this class in order to create the best newspaper we could. This year I am the Editor-in-Chief of the print production of the newspaper after spending every year as a member of the staff, one as a reporter and two as an editor.

Aside from spending a ridiculous amount of time on the newspaper, I am also a member of the Mundelein Model United Nations. I enjoy listening to music, baking cookies to relieve stress and spending time with my two dogs, Fritz and Peter, who have gratuitous photos of them on all of my social media accounts.
