Trevor Fox, Staff Reporter
My name is Trevor Fox and I am a senior at Mundelein High School. This is my first year on the staff of The Mustang and I will be serving as a staff reporter. I became interested in journalism and media my Freshman year by taking Mr. Meister’s Beginning TV class. I loved it and have since taken TV Apprenticeship and been an active member of the Broadcasting Team. I aim to use the skills I’ve discovered in TV to build a career, as I plan to major in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Film Studies. Last year, a representative from The Mustang informed me that Journalism was splitting into two separate classes -- one for the yearbook and one for “News in the 21st Century.” Well, I love media, and Broadcast Journalism is definitely 21st Century news, so I signed up for the class. Because I am in this class, I now have the opportunity to further my writing and interviewing skills and then publish my work. I am also a student leader of the Mundelein Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and participate in Boys Tennis. I look forward to covering Mundelein news with our staff and am looking forward to making this the best year of my life.
