Carson Beck, Assistant Sports Editor
I’m a first year assistant sports editor for The Mustang and a senior at MHS. I’m involved at Mundelein by managing the boys varsity basketball team. I have been the manager for the entire football program now for four years, and I am entering my third year of being the baseball program P.A. announcer. I’ve taken an interest in these rolls because I’ve been attending Mundelein sporting events ever since I was young. Additionally, I am a die-hard Iowa Hawkeyes fan with my other major sports teams being the Chicago Cubs, the Oakland Raiders, the Golden State Warriors and the Chicago Blackhawks. Besides sports, I have a deep interest in American politics. I’m also first chair bass clarinet for the Mundelein Honors Wind Ensemble, and I’ve been in band since fifth grade when I started off with the Soprano Clarinet.
