Students share their culture, Common Ground at MHS

This year, MHS’ Common Ground program presented their 5th annual Cultural Fair on Friday, March 3.

Participants spent all day in the main gym at booths that represented their culture by presenting posters, sharing sweets, playing interactive games and showcasing art from their respective countries. The event lasted all school day and even went into the night, with performances from cultures all over the world.

“I encourage anyone who is interested to join the cultural fair,” said Senior Faith Cho. “It doesn’t even have to be your own culture. You can help a friend out or have friends help you. It’s such a rare and special opportunity that I think everyone should take advantage of.”
