Hey, my name’s Sam Tolentino, and I’m a junior. After moving halfway across the country from Phoenix, Arizona, to Mundelein last summer, I wondered how I could get involved in the school with everything being such unknown territory for me. Working on the school yearbook last year definitely helped me ease my way into the community and motivated me to join the newspaper this year so that I could explore my love for journalism in a new way. In my spare time, I enjoy watching films, riding my bike, going to concerts and travelling. At our school, I’m also involved in Diversity Club, Asian Culture Club and the Common Ground Cultural Fair. I’m excited to report on a variety of events for the newspaper this year.
